Two people have died in a campground shootout at the Beyond Wonderland Festival.

On Saturday (June 17), at the Beyond Wonderland EDM festival in Washington state, USA, a festival-goer shot at the crowd at the campsite near the festival site for unknown reasons. Two people died and three others were injured – including the shooter himself. The shooting happened while performances were still taking place at the open air.
The two deaths were announced by a police spokesman at a press conference in the nearest town of George at 11.30pm the same day. The spokesman said the suspect fired “randomly into the crowd” when police arrived to arrest him. Nothing was made public about the health of the two injured people and the perpetrator. A motive has not yet been identified. On Sunday June 18th at 2.30pm the final day of the festival was completely cancelled.
Beyond Wonderland is a two-day EDM festival attended by approximately 27,000 people this year at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington state. This year’s lineup included artists such as Afrojack, Marshmello, Dillon Francis, James Hype, Timmy Trumpet, Eli Brown and Malaa.
