The plane crashed in the parking lot when a performance was in progress for about nine hundred visitors. The entrance to the circus tent was only fifty yards away. The aircraft itself and several vehicles caught fire.
The identity of the two fatalities is still unclear. According to the fire service, the music in the circus tent was so loud that the crash was barely audible. Afterwards, the police escorted the spectators out of the tent to avoid panic and chaos.
