Around half past three on Wednesday morning, the fire brigade had to respond to a car fire in Meppel. This time at Theo van Doesburgplantsoen. A car is completely burnt out at the front. Two adjacent cars were damaged.
Earlier in the week, on Monday morning 21 February, a car went up in flames two blocks away on Govaert Flinckstraat. Just like Wednesday, the owner of the car had not driven the car for a while and the fire started at the front of the car. The police therefore do not rule out arson and are investigating.
