Two aperitifs recognized as 100% West Flemish regional product
The range of ‘100% West Flemish’ is expanding in the aperitif category. The recognized products all have a link with the region and are traditionally produced in West Flanders. Fox Cider from Maxime Claeys from Geluwe is a new aperitif that has been added to the list. In addition, the Rouge Noir Gin from Entre-Deux-Monts (Heuvelland) is also awarded the label.
In total, there are already 590 recognized regional products and 420 producers and points of sale that have been awarded the label.
Farm producers
In addition to one new regional producer Maxime Claeys (from Fox Cider), there are also 3 new farm producers. In Roksem (Oudenburg) the label has been awarded to Bioboerderij Baeckelandt and in the Westhoek, the farm producers ‘Hoevewinkel ‘t Omloophof’ (Ieper) and ‘Aan de Vleterbeke’ (Oostvleteren) have also been added to the list.
