Two apartment fires in the night – a woman resuscitated

Two apartment fires broke out in Charlottenburg and Lichtenberg on Saturday night. In one case, a person had to be resuscitated.

Around 12:30 a.m. a fire broke out in a three-story building in Charlottenburg. A second floor apartment was on fire.

Firefighters found an elderly woman who had to be resuscitated on site. They also rescued two other people from the third floor. They were treated by paramedics and transported to the hospital.

The woman from the fire apartment came to a special clinic under resuscitation conditions.

According to initial findings, furnishings in the living room of the apartment were on fire. The fire brigade was on site with 26 firefighters and was able to leave the scene after two hours. A fire department of the Berlin police determined.

Another fire in Lichtenberg

On Saturday morning there was also a fire in an apartment on Seehausener Straße in Neu-Hohenschönhausen. According to initial findings, one resident was injured and was taken to a nearby hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.

Furniture is said to have burned. In this case, too, the Berlin police department is investigating.
