The police have arrested two suspects in the investigation into a stabbing incident in the center of Assen. Someone was injured this afternoon around 4:35 p.m. The suspects are two 18-year-old boys from Ter Apel.
The victim was stabbed in the area of Ceresstraat and Oude Molenstraat and, according to a bystander, suffered a head wound. It concerns a 28-year-old man from Assen. It is unclear why he was attacked. The police are investigating.
The suspects are in custody and are being interrogated.
