Actor Piper Laurie, 91, has died. Laurie’s manager confirmed it For Variety.

Laurie was born in Detroit, but moved to Los Angeles at a young age. He had time to make a long career as an actor.
Oscar nominations and an Emmy Award
Laurie received her first Oscar nomination Paul Newman co-starred in the 1961 film The Hustler. He returned to film and television in the mid-’70s and racked up impressive roles, including Oscar-nominated roles in Carrie and Children of a Lesser God.
Her performance as the scheming and power-hungry Catherine Martell in the TV series Twin Peaks earned him two of his nine Emmy nominations. The actor won his only Emmy for his role in the 1986 film Promises.
In the 1950s, Laurie met the actor Ronald Reagan, who later became the President of the United States.
