Twice gold and five podium places at the World Cable Wakeboarding Championships

The cable wakeboarding world championship was held last weekend at Liquid Leisure Windsor Park in London. The Belgian athletes have long been among the world’s best and they proved it once again.

Louis Eggerickx became number 1 in the Junior Men Elite Park series. Glenn Vandenberghe managed to get 2 medals. He won gold in the Men Park series (30-39) and silver in Men Urban (30-39). Norah Houwen took silver in the Junior Women Urban (14-18). Noah Ferson grabbed bronze at Wakeskate.

All Belgian participants who managed to get a medal come from the same wakeboard club, namely Lakeside Paradise in Knokke-Heist.
