Twice as many visitors for Kortrijk’s open air bath as last year

Swimming pool group Lago, which also operates other swimming pools in Kortrijk, also manages the well-known open-air pool. 14,000 visitors is almost double last year, but that may have everything to do with the good summer. Last year was a less good summer.

The future of the open-air pool has been uncertain for some time: Lago has an agreement with the city for another four years. But on Radio2, Elewin Werbrouck van Lago says that this year’s good visitor numbers can be an argument for keeping the outdoor swimming pool open longer.
