The industrial accident happened this morning around 10.30 am in the Kromebeekpark at Kaster, a manufacturer of kitchens. The young man from Lichtervelde gets stuck between an aerial platform and a wall. According to the public prosecutor’s office, his clothing kept getting stuck on the aerial work platform. “As a result, he was pulled upwards and his head became trapped.”
Emergency services arrive on the scene to resuscitate the man. He is taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
