During the first two days of the Les Ardentes festival in Liège, Thursday and Friday, the Red Cross carried out more than 600 interventions. There were no major incidents, although as many as 20 possible cases of needle spiking have been reported. This was reported to the Red Cross. Most interventions involved festival-goers who had become unwell, often due to the heat or dehydration.
