Twelve boxers from Berlin will start at the 98th German Boxing Championships from August 2nd to 6th in Heidelberg.
The competitions have been postponed from 2021 to the current date due to the tense corona situation. This is the novelty of two state championships in one year, because the championship of the current year will be held at the end of 2022.
In Heidelberg, with 160 participants, the association can report the best registration result in over 10 years. Berlin will be represented by nine men and three women after Dirk Weidenkeller (Rahnsdorf/71 kg) was injured.
