TV tip: Vox shows “Star Wars – The Force Awakens”

The Force Awakens is the first installment in the latest Star Wars trilogy. The film takes place approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. Vox will show the blockbuster on February 17, 2022 at prime time.

In Episode VII, following the rebels’ victory against the Empire, the dark force has regained strength. The shady Kylo Ren emulates the infamous Darth Vader and terrorizes the galaxy with Snoke, the leader of the First Order. As general of the New Republic, Leia Organa tasks pilot Poe with finding her missing brother, Luke Skywalker. But Kylo Ren and Snoke are also behind him. The only hope for the New Republic lies in scrap collector Rey, renegade stormtrooper Finn, warhorse Han Solo and Chewbacca, who join the adventurous search for the missing Jedi Knight.

Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill starred in The Force Awakens. Director JJ Abrams implemented the film without the participation of “Star Wars” inventor George Lucas and was largely based on the plot of the first part from 1977. The success proved him right: “The Force Awakens” cracked the crack earlier than any other film One billion dollar mark at the box office. To date, the strip is the third most successful in film history.

Vox is showing Star Wars: The Force Awakens on February 17 at 8:15 p.m. There will be a repeat on February 18 at 10:15 p.m.
