Tuukka is not allowed to say how far he got in the competition or which destinations he was able to travel to with his father.
– Yes, we got somewhere in the world. I won’t say more than that, Ritokoski said on the broadcast.
However, he shared what was the best thing about the experience.
– All the other teams were the best in the competition. They were all really top guys.
Hunger struck
He singled out one double sled in particular, which he describes as “a lighthouse and a trailer”. It is ex-rally driver Marcus Grönholm and his map reader Timo Rautiainen. Ritokoski told Aamulypsy about the situation that happened behind the scenes of the filming, which is precisely related to Grönholm and Rautiainen. The man did not reveal where in the world the incident took place.
– This happened after some race day. I wasn’t there myself, so this is second-hand information.

According to him, Grönholm and Rautiainen went to the hotel’s restaurant to eat “a little hungry”. The language barrier became an obstacle, as the waiter did not seem to understand the Finnish men’s orders in English. After the difficulties, the two were left waiting for their food.
– It took the pig a long time to get the food. The waiter came again to ask what they wanted to eat.
According to Ritokoski, at this point Grönholm had presented his order again and pointed to the menu. Soon the hunger pangs just got to me.
– The waiter was still a question mark. It had boiled so much that Busse (Grönholm’s nickname) had put his hands in the cup and put the menu on it and said “I want to eat this” and “fuck it, I’m going to eat here”, Ritokoski said with a laugh on Suomipop’s broadcast.
At this point Grönholm was said to have gone to walk around the restaurant and calm down. When he returned to sit down a few minutes later, Rautiainen told him that he had ordered pasta carbonara for him.
Before leaving for filming, Ritokoske told Iltalehti that their geocaching hobby might help them.
– The program is a bit like a treasure hunt. Maybe that history of ours helps here, or not. The concept is really fun, Tuukka said.
The program will be shown on Nelose and Ruudu on September 30. See all program information and broadcast times on Telku.
