Tuukka Ritokoski says in Aamulypsy that he is not ashamed of the way he solved the Amazing Race calling task. The viewers thought it was about snowballing.
Tuukka Ritokoski commented on Monday morning’s live Aamulypsy broadcast about his questionable actions seen on Saturday Amazing Race Finland in the episode.
In the last task of the episode, the contestants had to play with a local orchestra. Competitors were not allowed to look at the sheet music while performing, which caused confusion for many participants.
However, Ritokoski found a loophole and wrote the notes in his hand. Ritokoski looked at the markings written on his arm while playing in front of the judge. The presenter’s performance was accepted and the team was able to continue their journey despite the snow.

Juuso Mäkilähde says on the Aamulypsy broadcast that the solution has caused anger among the viewers, and asks Ritokoski to answer the cheating accusations.

Ritokoski reveals that one rule was emphasized to the competitors during production: the instruction envelope defines the rules.

The presenter explains that the judge’s words “no notes” actually meant that the judge was not allowed to give notes, not exactly that the use of notes was prohibited.
Ritokoski says that one viewer also wished that the host had been punished for his actions.
– I wouldn’t have been allowed to complete the task. There is no possibility that I will be allowed to complete the task and be fined afterwards. There are many judges to check that everything is done correctly.
