Turn off the radio in our heads…

I don’t know what the soundtrack is that plays in your head every time you want to do something and you sabotage yourself.

But I have rescued some phrases that I hear over and over again and in which you could see yourself reflected. Some are: “I’m not enough”, “no one loves me”, “they always cheat on me”, “I’m fat”, “look at this wrinkle”, etc.

Sometimes we are not aware of how we talk to ourselves, what we say to ourselves, what happens in our internal (and external) dialogue. We are much less aware of how it can affect our cells.

And it’s no surprise that language has an enormous influence on our daily decisions and actions. That the way we talk to ourselves has a profound impact on our physical, mental and emotional health.

The good news is that it is in our hands to cultivate a new language, to reprogram ourselves. And since words evoke realities, today we are going to identify them to start using language to our advantage.

A very common example is “but because it denotes that something negative is about to arrive, the ideal is to replace it with a connector, for example “and. Another very common example is to say I’m going to “attempt”, It already speaks of failure, that there are chances that we will not achieve it, the ideal is to say I am going to do such and such a thing, to use this word.

Below I detail other examples: “I can’t”, “I have to”, “maybe”.

Also a good tool is to do coaching, write, listen to audios to reprogram ourselves, or simply be aware of what we tell ourselves and begin to value ourselves, pamper ourselves.

This is my second challenge for this year, that you begin to value yourself, love yourself and treat yourself better.
