The National Under-19 Football Team beat Lithuania 3-1 in the first match of the 8th Group of the UEFA European Championship Qualifying Round.
In the match played at the Arslan Zeki Demirci Sports Complex in Antalya’s Manavgat district, the Crescent-Stars team finished the match 3-1 ahead with the goals scored by Engin Yıldırım in the 10th minute and Efe Sarıkaya in the 31st and 80th minutes.
Lukas Michelbrink scored Lithuania’s only goal in the 62nd minute.
In the other match in the group, Belarus defeated Greece 1-0.
Turkey Under-19 National Football Team will play its second match in the group against Belarus on November 18, and its last match against Greece on November 21.
