Turkish Wrestling Federation announced that 3 athletes died due to the earthquake disaster.
The explanation given is as follows:
Our children, Muhammed Gül, Hamza Çelik, Yusuf Eskisarılı, Ömer Faruk Çayır, Sezer Yıldız, Utku Doğan, İbrahim Kar and Mehmet Emin Demir, who were rescued from the rubble as a result of the search and rescue efforts initiated due to the demolition of the building where the athletes of the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality were staying after the great disaster in Kahramanmaraş. It was found that the health status of the patients was good.
We inform you that our sons Ahmet Taş, Mehmet Eskisarılı, Ali Gürsoy and Aslan Ekiz unfortunately passed away.

Unfortunately, positive news could not be received as a result of the listening studies of AFAD officials regarding Eray Şimşek, Ozan Datlı, Hasan Sarıtürk and İbrahim Erdene.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the members of our wrestling family, who have personally continued their rescue efforts at the beginning of the process, and are still trying to reach their children with hope and faith.
