Türkgücü insolvency: Schindzielorz confirms VfL Bochum’s return from Römling

Get training program

Left-back Moritz Römling, who was loaned out to the then third division club Türkgücü Munich last summer, will return to regular club VfL Bochum early due to the club’s insolvency. The confirmed sports director Sebastian Schindzielorz.

Römling’s contract with VfL runs until the summer of 2023. He had played 21 games for Türkgücü on the left side of defense in the current season before the club had to withdraw his team from playing due to bankruptcy. Training operations have also been suspended, in fact all Türkgücü professionals will be without a club from April 1st.

“We already had a clause in the contract about what would happen if the 3rd division had to be canceled because of Corona. We were already assured that he would then be able to return to us. Now there has been an intensive exchange and he gets a training program from us that puts him under reasonable strain and develops his capabilities,” Schindzielorz explained in the “WAZ“ with a view to the situation of the VfL homegrown Römling.
