Turkey submitted its candidacy file to UEFA to host the 2028 and 2032 European football championships.
In the statement made by UEFA, it was noted that the countries that want to host the 2028 and 2032 championships submitted their preliminary bid files.
While Turkey bids UEFA for the 2028 and 2032 championships; The football associations of England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales submitted files for 2028 and Italy for 2032.
The deadline for the submission of the final bid file has been determined as April 12, 2023. The host countries are expected to be announced in the fall next year.
