Turkish media reports that the referee is said to have asked the Fenerbahce captain: “Bitcoin or Ethereum?” Ethereum refers to another cryptocurrency. The rules of the game only speak of a “toss of a coin” when choosing a seat. However, inconspicuousness is expected from referees. They often toss coins of two different colors. It is not yet known whether Kardeşler was joking or whether there was a commercial reason behind it.
