Turbine Potsdam’s captain Sara Agrez is moving to league rivals VfL Wolfsburg in the summer. The transfer of the 21-year-old Slovenian, which had been in the air for a long time, was confirmed by both clubs in the women’s Bundesliga on Tuesday.
“I will enjoy the last few weeks with my team and give everything for the club so that we can achieve our goals together!” Agrez said about the change.
That includes a win against their future club, as Wolfsburg will be Turbine’s opponents in the German Cup final on May 28 in Cologne. The Brandenburg women are also still aiming for qualification for the Champions League.
