This is what he claims Libellule Insieme ETS Foundationwhich together with Cascina Cuccagna organized a free meeting open to all dedicated precisely to feeling good during illness. It seems like a contradiction, but even those with cancer can (and should) find moments in which to dedicate themselves to their well-being, physical appearance and positive emotions. Numerous international scientific studies demonstrate that a positive mental, psychological and spiritual aspect improves the response to treatment and promotes healing. It is precisely on this principle that Libellule Insieme ETS Foundationthanks to a team of medical specialists, volunteers, cutting-edge equipment, training and recreational events, since 2015 it has taken women with cancer by the hand to support them 360° in prevention and throughout the entire cancer disease journey.
On March 8th in Cascina Cuccagna we won’t just talk about cancer
At the historic Cascina Cuccagna in Milan, starting from 6pm on Friday 8 March, two extraordinary women will tell the public how it is possible to “Feel good while sick”. Angela Noviello, Director of Italy and European Coordinator of OTI (Oncology Training international Oncology Esthetics) and the Doctor Paola Martinoni, surgical oncologist and breast specialist, Founder of the Libellule Insieme ETS Foundation. The founders of will also speak Knitting, a group of women united by a passion for knitting as an opportunity for sociality, to create new solidarity knitting projects together. How the Libellule Onlus Foundation was born
In 2015, on the advice of Professor Umberto Veronesi, Doctor Paola Martinoni founded the Libellule Onlus Association in memory of Franca Veronesi, which has now grown into a Foundation, an oncological point of reference for hundreds of women who reach it from all over Italy.
