Nupes (Nouvelle Union Populaire Écologique et Sociale), the alliance of several left-wing parties ahead of the French parliamentary elections, has accused the interior ministry of “tampering”. The alliance accuses the ministry of not counting all the votes it got in the first round of the parliamentary elections. The ministry insists that it adheres to the lists of designated candidates.
