“Also process first”
Coach Thomas Tuchel was shocked and surprised at the separation of FC Bayern from CEO Oliver Kahn and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic. “I know since yesterday. The two were largely responsible for the fact that we went on the journey together. That’s why I have to process it now,” said Tuchel on Saturday on the TV channel “Sky” after the 2-1 win at 1. FC Köln.
“Instead of celebrating, we now have the next topic,” said Tuchel clearly pissed off. The 49-year-old, who was signed by Kahn and Salihamidzic in March, said he still expects to continue his work with the German record champions. According to his own statement, Kahn was “banned” from attending the last game of the season in Cologne. It had previously been said that the CEO was absent due to the flu.

TM community discusses decisions at FC Bayern: “‘Mia San Mia’ is dead”
The events at FC Bayern are also hotly debated in the TM community. “Honestly? As of today, the club is history for me. I can no longer identify with something like that,” writes the user “madre74”. “Hidan94” takes a similar line: “Regardless of what you think of Hasan and Kahn, you have to say that the behavior in our club is irreverent. ‘Mia San Mia’ is dead. We’re on par with City, Chelsea and Real in terms of humanity. But what am I talking about? In the end it’s all a business anyway.”
The successor to sports director Salihamidzic is also a topic in the forum. “Who should be the successor? Anything but rip-off sounds like a total catastrophe. It would be possible to be lame, but then it would take years to get used to it again,” writes “gonkuuu”. “DrBall” attests: “Brazzo did some things right and some things wrong. His successor will have to deliver and he will be judged on Brazzo’s successes, not his failures. But I think FCB now have the understanding of being a world club, so I believe that no matter who comes, the era in which the focus was mainly on Bundesliga transfers is behind us. You have to thank Brazzo for some of the greatest talent in the squad: Davies, Musiala, Tel. I think these players can and will shape a generation here.”
