A TT-goer in dire need who wanted to empty his bladder last night in the center of Assen, got himself into a lot of trouble. The German lost his balance during the short emergency stop along Zuidersingel and plunged into the water at Oosterhoutsstraat.
After the accidental dive, the man independently climbed back onto the quay. The fire brigade, which was called to remove the victim from the water, was able to return to the barracks.
Help from ambulance personnel, on the other hand, was very convenient. When he could let the unfortunate adventure sink in, the man was given a blanket to keep warm. As far as is known, he did not suffer from hypothermia, so a visit to the hospital was not necessary.
It is not clear how the man lost his balance while urinating. After he recovered, the police offered the German a lift and took him away. Where to is unknown.
