TT legends Mamola and Schwantz unveil their own tiles for Walk of Fame

MotoGP legends Kevin Schwantz and Randy Mamola have unveiled their own tiles for the TT Legends Walk of Fame in Assen. More than a hundred of these bronze tiles should be placed in the streets of Assen in the coming years. Motorsport legends are depicted on the special tiles.

Schwantz and Mamola are in Assen for demonstrations during the Classic Grand Prix this weekend at the TT Circuit. Kevin Schwantz (59) won the TT three times, the last time was in 1993, that year he also became world champion. Randy Mamola (63) finished second in the world championship four times in the thirteen years that he rode Grand Prix. He won twice at the circuit in Assen, in 1984 and 1985.

Last night the two former motorcycle racers were in the city center of Assen and they were both presented with a tile at Café Lodewijk Napoleon.
