Only Ginter more valuable at the end of the contract
Shortly before the start of the Bundesliga game against FC Bayern, TSG Hoffenheim announced the extension with record goalscorer Andrej Kramaric. The 30-year-old attacker signed a new working paper with the Kraichgauers until 2025. With a market value of 18 million euros, the Croatian was previously the second most valuable Bundesliga professional with an expiring contract at the end of the season.

“The fact that such an exceptional and ambitious player as Andrej extends his expiring contract here and thus starts his eighth season for Hoffenheim in the summer shows on the one hand the importance we have achieved in the meantime and on the other hand how much Andrej identifies with TSG.” , explained Hoffenheim’s director of professional football, Alexander Rosen. “Andrej has been one of the most consistent goalscorers in the Bundesliga for years, an absolute difference player, a model professional par excellence and already a living TSG legend. His experience, his skills and his outstanding character strengthen the entire team.”
Kramaric first switched to TSG on loan in 2016, a year later the club signed him from Leicester City for €11m, which put him third in the ranking of the most expensive 1899 signings. With 101 goals in 210 games so far, he is the undisputed number one among the top scorers in the club’s history.

Binding of Kramaric next important building block in TSG squad planning
The extension with Kramaric is the next important building block in Rosen’s squad planning. Captain Benjamin Hübner, Pavel Kaderabek and David Raum, among others, have been tied in front of the right foot in recent weeks. In addition, the free transfer signing of Grischa Prömel was announced.
Kramaric explained: “I have enjoyed every moment here so far and am now looking forward to an exciting future. I would never have expected to be one of the best strikers in Germany, but that’s only possible because I feel absolutely at home here.”
