According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, striker Maximilian Beier has extended his contract with Bundesliga soccer team TSG 1899 Hoffenheim by two years until 2027.
There was no confirmation from the club on Tuesday evening. Several English clubs are said to have recently shown interest in the 21-year-old.
Beier is one of the positive surprises this season. The youngster has already scored six goals and has even been linked to the national football team.
The striker was on loan at Hannover 96 for the past two seasons and returned to Hoffenheim during the summer break.
