Confidence in the news continues to decline among Flemings. 51 percent say they “usually trust most news”. Five years ago it was still 62 percent. And almost one in four Flemish youngsters explicitly states that they are not interested in news. This is according to the Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2023, which will be published on Wednesday.
