“The demand to remove Russian troops from Russian territory has not changed in any way in response to our arguments. And this is regrettable, at the very least,” Truss Lavrov commented on the statement.
Lavrov was surprised by the content of the talks themselves. Lavrov once again noted that Russia does not threaten anyone, but “threaten us,” and cited the threats of the British Foreign Office as an example.
