Donald Trump is suspected of trying to influence the US presidential election with his new shoe collection.

A week ago, Trump launched golden basketball shoes called “Never Surrender”, which are decorated with American flags and the man’s own initials.

Forbes according to a Fox News reporter Raymond Arrayo has hinted that black voters in particular would now turn to Trump because they like shoes. The comment has caused a big uproar.

Entertainment website TMZ asked former NBA star Lou Williams about Trump’s alleged election tactics. The answer was to freeze.

– If that (fishing for votes) was his purpose, he must not have understood how intelligent people are. We could see this from miles away, Williams acknowledged.

– And those shoes aren’t even nice. They will not become a collector’s item.

Williams thinks that voters are interested in other things than basketball shoes.

– Are we really talking about shoes, and not about which direction our country is going? Our country, where we live and where our children will grow up? He asked.
