Former US President Donald Trump is soliciting political donations by portraying the FBI’s recent search of his Florida home in emails and texts to his supporters as a politically motivated move by President Joe Biden’s administration. “They are trying to stop the Republican Party and me again,” Trump wrote in one of the fundraising emails on Tuesday. “The lawlessness, political persecution and witch hunts must be exposed and stopped.”
