Trump does not have to go to prison from Stormy Daniels in hush money case | Abroad

“I don’t think his crimes against me are worth incarcerating,” Daniels, 44, said in an interview with Fox News’ Piers Morgan, portions of which were posted to Twitter. She “absolutely” thinks Trump should go to jail if he is found guilty in other cases, such as his attempt to reverse his election loss in 2020 and withholding confidential government documents. If that doesn’t happen, Daniels says, “it opens the door for other people to think they can get away with it, and worse.”

The payment of hush money is not a criminal offense in itself, but prosecutors are prosecuting Trump, among other things, for allegedly violating campaign finance rules. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for December 4. Daniels reiterated that she may be willing to testify.

Trump, who is running for president again, has dismissed the 34 charges in the hush money case as a witch hunt and election interference.
