Trump challenges Biden to debate: “Anytime, anywhere” | Abroad

Trump saw his last Republican challenger drop out with Nikki Haley. “It is important for the good of our country that Biden and I debate issues that are vital to America and the American people. I look forward to a response,” he said.

Trump and Biden have not yet officially received their party’s nomination, but that seems to be a matter of time because there are no longer any serious opponents. They are both expected to win enough delegates in the primaries within a few weeks to become their party’s candidate.

During the Republican primaries, Trump refused to debate with fellow party members who were running against him. Every time they had a debate, he planned a campaign moment at that time.
