Truffle: Pilar is partying

Pilar is a world in itself, and its gastronomic options are becoming more and more varied. The CasaSur hotel recently opened its restaurant, Trufa, with a menu with dishes that do not disappoint, made with quality seasonal products. It also has a very cool rooftop, to watch the sunset while listening to live DJs, enjoying its tapas and cocktail menu.

Since it is a hotel restaurant, Trufa begins its service in the morning with full, healthy or à la carte breakfast options, with good pastries, sandwiches, smoothies and detox juices. For lunch and dinner, the menu proposes starters for all tastes: crispy rosti potato with sautéed oysters, salmon and bluefin tuna ceviche (both fish come from afar frozen, why not take advantage of our abundant fresh catch?), sweetbreads with teriyaki sauce and muhamara (pepper and walnut cream), and warm camembert with grilled asparagus (when in season).

Among the main dishes, there are succulent salads and hamburgers, pasta (sweet potato gnocchi and pappardele with Italian tomato sauce), chorizo steak milanesa in crispy panko with herbs and fish with pumpkin and oatmeal crumble, among others. Finally, don’t miss the Truffle dessert, a sweet delicacy as well as a work of confectionery engineering. It is a sphere filled with white chocolate mousse, with a heart of Nutella, and caramelized with pistachios with a warm chocolate bath.

The rooftop has a tapas menu for the night with options: mini camembert baked with brulee pears; the portobello mushroom tacos; the catch of the day in tempura with ponzu sauce; and the oyster milanesas with asparagus aioli. There are also good desserts, such as the toasted sesame ice cream and the almond alfajor with white chocolate (without tac).

To drink, there is a good variety of spritz, gin and tonics, caipiroshkas, as well as classic shots. At night, the rooftop is bathed in green light and the music invites you to enjoy, without having to go to the North Zone or the Center.
