A truck loaded with carrots overturned on the A73 near Cuijk on Wednesday afternoon. The truck crashed into the guardrail and then ended up in a ditch next to the highway.
The accident has closed one lane in the direction of Limburg, Rijkswaterstaat reports. Road users must take into account an hour’s delay. Rijkswaterstaat recommends driving from the Ewijk junction via the A50, A2 and A67 to Limburg.
It may take some time before the road is clear again. “In addition to salvaging and cleaning the road, we also have to repair the guardrail,” Rijkswaterstaat said.
