At around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday night, the Berlin fire department was alerted to Mehrower Allee in Marzahn. The tarpaulin of a truck trailer was on fire. The curtains in the driver’s cab were closed and the fire brigade and police initially had to assume that there was someone inside. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case.
