A small truck went up in flames in Hoogeveen last night.
That happened on the Dedelstraat. Shortly after 2:30 p.m., firefighters received a report of a fire. When firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire, flames were already shooting out of the roof of the cabin. Despite the efforts to put out the fire, the car burned out.
It is unknown how the fire started. Hoogeveen is more often plagued by nighttime car fires. More than a week ago, a passenger car also went up in flames at the Dokter van de Veldestraat.
