A truck left the road on the A28 at the Hoogeveen exit last night.
It is not known how the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver, who saw his vehicle come to a stop on the roadside, escaped unscathed.
Before the accident was dealt with, the Hoogeveen exit was closed for hours to traffic in the direction of Meppel. A salvage company took the jackknifed truck and cleaned up the damage.
