A simple commotion turned into a fight in the middle of traffic.
On Monday afternoon, a truck driver (51) and an Opel driver (24) got into a fight on Heidestrasse in Moabit.
The reason is said to have been the way the truck driver turned. The young man driving behind him got upset and honked his horn. Shortly thereafter, the two men are said to have got out of their vehicles and then pushed and hit each other.
The truck driver is also said to have hit the bonnet of the Opel and damaged an outside mirror. Then he is said to have insulted him in a way that hated the people.
Both men subsequently reported each other for assault.
A voluntary drug test had shown positive amphetamines in the truck driver. An alcohol test was negative. State security has launched an investigation.
