An accident occurred at the Batadorp junction on the A2 from Eindhoven to Maastricht. The main carriageway of the A2 is therefore closed. A truck is against a guardrail, it is unclear what exactly happened and whether other drivers are involved in the accident.
The two lanes of the main road are closed. Traffic can pass via the parallel carriageway N2. Rijkswaterstaat announces that the main carriageway of the A2 will remain closed throughout the morning rush hour.
As a result, traffic is already at a standstill on the A50, with a traffic jam between Son en Breugel and the Ekkerswijer junction. The delay is fifteen minutes.
