Today, more trains have been deployed for the seaside resort of Zandvoort. The roads towards Wijk aan Zee and IJmuiden are passable throughout the day, with slow-moving traffic on a few stretches. Beach tent owners indicate that especially drinks and dinner at the end of the afternoon, early evening, are the busiest times of the day.
