The Spanish rider managed to win the superpole, race 2 and race 1 on Saturday at the Catalan GP

The Spanish Alvaro Baptist (Ducati) achieved the treble at the Catalan GP by adding the victories in superpole and in race 2 to the one achieved on Saturday in race 1.
Baptist he won Race 2 from pole and no one could beat him from the lights to the flag in Race 2 to further extend his Championship lead.
Halfway through the race, the Talaveran driver already had a five-second lead that continued to increase during the second half of the race to cross the finish line with more than eight seconds.
In back of Baptistthe battle for second place was between Michael Rubén Rinaldi (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), Axel Bassani (Motocorsa Racing), toprack Razgatlioglu (Yamaha) battled it out for the remaining podium spots, with the pair often trading places. In the end, he was the teammate of Baptist, Rinaldiwho took second place after an exciting battle, with the crucial move for Rinaldi on lap 11 at turn 1, when he passed Bassani.
The results allowed Baptist extend their lead in the Championship to 59 points over Razgatlioglu, 394 for 335, a 29-point gain over the weekend as he notched his first hat-trick since Aragón 2019 and the fourth of his career. Rea is third with 327 points.
