The German relay team led by Laura Lindemann won the silver medal in the mixed competition at the European Triathlon Championships in Munich. After swimming 300 meters, cycling 7.2 kilometers and running 1.6 kilometers in the Munich Olympic Park, Valentin Wernz (Tuttlingen), Nina Eim (Potsdam), Simon Henseleit (Schongau) and Lindemann (Potsdam) were only beaten by France. Switzerland came third.
