Triathlon in Hamme becomes duathlon because protected bird species and beaver want to reproduce there | hamme

There will be no 38th edition of the Watermolen triathlon in Hamme for the time being – there is a duathlon – and that for once is not due to a diligent neighborhood committee, but to a few protected bird species of which the forest monkey appeals most to the imagination. This little heron is currently in southern Africa, but is expected in mid-May on the banks of the Oude Durme, where the Agency for Nature and Forests has spread its bed. We went to take a look.
