While the Egypt National Football Team’s African Nations Cup squad was announced, 2 players from the Trendyol Super League were called.
According to the statement made by the country’s federation, Mahmud Ahmed İbrahim Hasan “Trezeguet” from Trabzonspor and Ahmed Hassan from Siltaş Yapı Pendikspor were also included in Egypt’s squad, which will compete in the 34th African Cup of Nations.
Former Galatasaray player Mustafa Muhammed also found a place in the squad.
The matches in the cup, which will start on January 13, hosted by Ivory Coast, will be played in 6 stadiums in 5 cities. The organization will end on February 11.
The 34th African Cup of Nations, which was planned to be played last June-July, was postponed to January 2024 due to adverse weather conditions in the host country, Ivory Coast.
