Trevor Noah, a comedian who will host the Grammy Gala, says he has nothing to do with the removal of rapper Kanye West from the April Grammy Gala. His inappropriate behavior on social media has been cited as the reason for West’s removal. West is nominated at the gala in five different award categories.
Doubts about Trevor’s involvement in the events stem from his public comment on his use of West Daily Show in the program. Trevor Expresses Concern About West’s Controversial Behavior With His Ex-Spouse Kim Kardashian and His Current Partner Pete Davidsonia towards.
– I see Kim as a woman who just wants to live her own life without disturbing her ex. At first, West’s behavior, longing for his ex-spouse back, was romantic, but now our condition has turned distressing. West has made a music video where he buryes his ex-partner, he spoke.
He also talked about how many imagine Kim used to be on display, and he just loves publicity. However, Trevor raised the issue on a larger scale.
– Kim is one of the richest and most influential women in the world, and she will not stop harassing her ex. This is an example of what many women face when trying to end a relationship, Trevor reflected.
West, who now uses the name Ye, posted an offensive message about Trevor on his Instagram the day after the monologue was released, after which Instagram suspended his account for 24 hours for violating the rules of hate speech, bullying, and harassment.
However, Trevor commented sympathetically on the post.
– Only a few artists have influenced me more than you Ye. That is why it is heartbreaking to see you like this.
Trevor has also assured him that he has not contributed in any way to West’s shelving at the Grammy Gala. He commented on the matter on Twitter, saying:
– I asked for advice from Kanye, I won’t cancel her.
