Methodology
Adyen’s Retail Study analyzes local and international trends influencing businesses around the world with regard to new consumer behaviors and the opportunities offered by fintech. We mainly interviewed retail companies but also hotels and F&B (Food & Beverages).
These sectors face both similar and contrasting challenges and opportunities. We’ve studied them to identify trends in strategy and innovation, from the rise of self-service kiosks to data-driven loyalty programs.
This study brings together retailer and consumer data from many countries, studied and compared globally and locally to provide an overview with regional nuances.
