Thousands of apartments are missing in Berlin, and new construction is not progressing as quickly as politicians promise. Rents keep going up. Is it therefore justified to sacrifice small green urban oases for housing? Or are they indispensable for our urban climate?

In the previous survey, we wanted to know whether it is right to reopen Friedrichstrasse to car traffic. Yes, 89 percent voted for it (2605). Nine percent don’t think it’s good (266). Two percent (72) don’t care.
